In the years I've had my light I've used it in the most demanding conditions. I carried up many poles on cold rainy nights and used it in underground repair work. It has been covered with mud, dropped off poles, and on one occassion I even left it on the bumper, drove off and the bucket truck behind me ran over it. And it lived.
